Women's History Month is celebrated each March and recognizes the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

In celebration, New River Fine Art would like to spotlight our accomplished and skillful women artists.

Today's Artist, Estella Fransbergen is an international sculptor whose works put a focus on elegance, femininity, and the female form.

Fransbergen’s inspiration for her art comes from mother nature. To highlight the beauty of mother nature, each naked torso is adorned in a shower of natural gemstones and other organic materials. Each sculpture is built by hand using a coil building technique, before being exposed to primitive firing techniques of sawdust and raku. Fransbergen’s one of a kind pieces celebrate both human form and individuality.
